Most bulk material arrives at a stockyard, port or plant by dump truck. Without a receiving point, each load is tipped on the ground and then picked up again by a loader, which costs time, fuel and material. A Moontain truck unloader removes that second handling: trucks tip directly into a low-level hopper, and the material is conveyed straight to a stockpile, a stacker, a train or a barge.
Key Features
- Direct truck feed: trucks discharge straight into the receiving hopper, so material goes onto the conveyor system without being dumped and reloaded.
- Low-level feeding: a low-profile hopper and feeder conveyor keep the tipping point close to ground level and reduce the civil works needed at the receiving area.
- Feed to stacker, train or barge: the discharge conveyor can feed a stacker, a stockpile, rail wagons or barges for onward transport.
- Suits different materials: coal, ores, aggregates, grain and other bulk materials.
Applications
Truck unloaders are widely used at stockpiles and warehouses, ports and barge loading points, mines and quarries, and in corn and grain handling.
